Killing the Last Egyptian

Egyptian now can count 8 years of the 21st of Century passed of their life with no progress in the country at any front.

The Stupid person currently ruling Egypt is too old, and surrounded by people who are corrupted beyond recognition. He may seem to be ruling Egypt, but in fact corruption is now the King of Egypt.

Since the beginning of 2008 Egyptian faced a new method of humiliation. Instead of grapping people and torturing them on police stations or in the desert, as it happened with a newspaper writers few years ago. They are pushed to the wall to peg for bread.

Historically Egyptian accustomed to eat bread with every meal, since it is the cheapest form of food an Egyptian afford. In some cases they only can afford bread without any supplement. Now, they are faced with the punishing reality of being unable to buy it from the approved outlets by the government. They are pushed to buy it from the gray market, or stand in endless queues for many hours to buy limited quantities.

The problem highlighted with the death of at least 10 Egyptian nationals while trying to buy enough bread to feed their hunger. 10 innocent lives been lost due the government lack of leadership and inefficient management of the economy. Egypt is not a poor country by any means, but the Egyptian economy is badly managed for decades and we can see the results clearly on the streets of Cairo.

The 80 years individual who ruled Egypt unopposed (by force) for the last 25+ years asked the government to fix the problem. The interesting part of his argument, that bread will stay subsidized by the government in order to help the poor to feed themselves.

But the problem facing the 80 million Egyptian is of his own making in order to force them to forget all their rights and only think about one thing “Bread”. He is trying to simulate what the formula applied by rich gulf countries, providing citizens with everything in return for abidingness. The stupid man decided to do similar, but in reverse, he is taking everything from Egyptians to force them to abide to his ruling.
